Sarah Cawood (born 7 August 1972 in Bolton) is an English television presenter. She was educated at Stamford High School near Peterborough, England. In 1997, she presented on The Girlie Show. From 1998-2000, she presented the Karaoke quiz, Night Fever. She has also presented on MTV, Live & Kicking and Top of the Pops. She currently co-presents the midweek and Saturday National Lottery programmes and is also a reporter on the Channel 4 show Richard & Judy. In addition to this, she presented an information video for Argos for staff training purposes. In May 2006, it was while she was presenting The National Lottery Jet Set, alongside Eamonn Holmes that Fathers 4 Justice invaded the studio, she however carried on and later claimed it was her training on MTV which allowed her to 'ab-lib' and carry on. It has been suggested, after Sarah's recent interviews on BBLB, that there is a certain chemistry between her and Dermot O'Leary. From this there are hopes that they may star in a TV or radio show together. She is good friends with presenter Fearne Cotton, and is a fan of the american punk rock band The Ramones. |
