Rebecca June Cartwright Hewitt (born July 23, 1983 in Sydney, Australia), more commonly known as Bec Cartwright, is an Australian actress. A performer from the age of 3, Cartwright came to the nation's attention when she joined the cast of the Seven Network's nighty soap opera Home and Away in 1999, playing Hayley Smith. She remained on the show until August 2005. Although she left the show, her character did not; Ella Scott Lynch took over the role of Hayley. She featured in, and won, the first series of Dancing with the Stars in 2004. |
