Raquel Zimmermann was born in 1981 in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, where she attended a modeling school at the age of 14.

Raquel has campaigned for such brands as: Beneducci, Bobby Brown Cosmetics, Cerruti, Escada, Giorgio Armani, MAC Cosmetics, Valentino, and Vogue.
