Natalie Bassingthwaighte (born 1 September 1975 in Wollongong, Australia) is an Australian actress, best-known for playing the role of Isabelle "Izzy" Hoyland in the soap opera Neighbours, joining the show in 2003. During her time on the show Natalie has been involved in several big storylines involving her character's evil streak which has shocked and delighted some fans of the show. Due to her lengthy surname, the official Neighbours website usually refers to her as simply 'Natalie B'.

From late 2004 she has been the lead singer of Australian rock group Rogue Traders, a band which had some limited success in the years before she joined. Natalie auditioned along with several other musicians and succeeded in getting the part fairly quickly. At first the band seemed keen to keep Natalie's involvement in the Rogue Traders under wraps, and it wasn't until the band's first single release with Natalie on board that fans became aware of Natalie's position.

Natalie has also been involved in several major Australian stage productions including remakes of musicals such as Footloose and Grease (in the summer of 2005).

Natalie's time on Neighbours seems linked, in part, to the success of Rogue Traders. The band are doing very well in Australia with the addition of Natalie (having released several singles and an album to date) and mention of release in Europe and the United Kingdom. Natalie has confirmed to TV Week that she will be leaving Neighbours to continue pursuing her music career with her band Rogue Traders and filmed her last episode on the 2nd June.

In 2006 Natalie was nominated for the first time since being on Neighbours for a Gold Logie. The Gold Logie is the biggest award to win at the Australian TV Week Logie Awards in which it is presented to the "Most Favourite Personality on Television." She is also nominated for a Silver Logie for Best Actress. The TV Week Logie Awards air Sunday 7th May 2006. Despite backing from fans, Natalie failed to secure either category she was nominated.

Whilst Bassingthwaite has previously kept her private life out of the public eye she has been photographed at various events with current boyfriend, Cameron McGlinchey, who is the percussionist in the Rogue Traders. Natalie has previously been linked to assistant Neighbours director Ryan Eckersley.
