Melissa Suzanne George (born August 6, 1976) is an Australian actress and athlete who has worked in both American and Australian films and television series. She was an Australian national champion in roller skating before she worked on the television series Home and Away from 1993 to 1996. After moving to Los Angeles, she scored small roles in a host of films, including Mulholland Drive, Down With Love and Dark City, along with several TV shows which unfortunately got canned after being picked up. From 2003 to 2004 she played the character Lauren Reed on the American television series Alias. In 2005 she co-starred with Ryan Reynolds in the remake of The Amityville Horror, playing Kathy Lutz. She is married to Chilean businessman Claudio Dabed, and is step mother to his daughter Martina. |
