Melanie Sykes (born 7 August 1971 in Mossley, UK) is a British television presenter and actress. She first came to public attention as the bikini-clad girl in the Boddingtons Beer adverts with the broad Northern accent. In the last few years, Mel has continued her television career, including reporting for "I'm a celebrity get me out of here!" and presenting "Eastenders Revealed". She has also hosted a variety of awards shows, including Miss World, the BAFTA's and the Q Awards, has presented her own radio show on Galaxy and recently hosting prime time Saturday night on ITV with "Under Pressure" and the "Vault" |
