Maureen Denise McCormick (born August 5, 1956 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actress best known for her role as Marcia Brady in the television series The Brady Bunch. She made her television debut in 1964 in an episode of Bewitched, and played guest roles in programs such as I Dream of Jeannie and My Three Sons before winning the role of Marcia. She played that role for the duration of the program's production from 1969 until 1974 and in later Brady Bunch movies. Also during this time, she was asked to lend her voice to the new Chatty Cathy doll. |
