Lake Bell (born March 24, 1979 in New York City) is an American actress known for her role in the TV series Boston Legal. She first played Sally Heep as a guest character on The Practice in 2004. In the same year the show was replaced by Boston Legal, and she was made a regular cast member. Her character on the show was fired, and she left the series in 2005. She since gained a lead role in the new sci-fi show Surface, which premiers September 19, 2005 on NBC. Her last series work, was in the short lived Miss Match with Alicia Silverstone in 2003, and also appeared twice in a guest role ER in 2002. Her film work includes Chris Fisher's The Hillside Strangler (2004), Love Your Work (2003), Speakeasy (2002), and Slammed (2001). |
