Lacey Amelia Turner (born on 28 March 1988 in London, United Kingdom) is an English actress best known for her role as Stacey Slater, in the popular BBC television soap EastEnders, on which she first appeared in November 2004. Her second cousin is actor Philip Dowling who played Leo Taylor in EastEnders in 2005. Louisa Lytton, who plays Stacey's best friend Ruby Allen, is a close friend of Lacey's and both girls originally auditioned for the role of Demi Miller before being given their parts. Lacey currently lives with her parents and two younger sisters Daisy and Lily in Hertfordshire. She is currently dating Jake Gotlib, and has done since before she got her role in EastEnders. Lacey was mentored by fellow EastEnders star Jessie Wallace who Lacey had always admired, they are both still close friends.
