Jennifer Morrison (b. August 19, 1979) is an American actress and model who is best known for her role on the Fox drama House. Morrison was born in Chicago, Illinois, grew up in Arlington Heights, IL, and attended Prospect High School in Mt. Prospect, IL, outside of Chicago, and attended Loyola University Chicago, studying theatre. She then studied with the school at Steppenwolf in 2000 before moving to L.A. She used to dance, cheerlead, play clarinet in marching band, play soccer and tennis, and enjoys surfing, wakeboarding and snowboarding. Morrison began her career as a child, modelling for companies such as JCPenny and Montgomery Ward. Her first movie role came in 1994 in Intersection. She continued to play minor roles until the 2000 film, Urban Legends: Final Cut. This was followed by T.V roles in Touched by an Angel, Any Day Now and Dawsons Creek. After more small roles, she starred in Surviving Christmas alongside Ben Affleck. In 2006, she starred in and produced the film Flourish. She currently stars in the popular House, M.D as Dr. Allison Cameron, an immunologist. ContactMusic reported in September 2005, that she was dating co-star Jesse Spencer. She enjoys hiking and supports the Cubs.
