Jamie-Lynn Sigler (born May 15, 1981 in Jericho, New York) is an American actress. She is most famous for her role on the acclaimed HBO television series The Sopranos. Born to a Jewish father (whose parents were from Romania and Greece, respectively) and a Cuban mother, DiScala began acting and singing at the age of seven. In 1999, billed as Jamie-Lynn Sigler, she was cast as the smart but troubled Meadow Soprano, daughter of New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano. The show became a success and Sigler rose to some fame as a TV actress. |
