Izabella Dorota Scorupco was born June 4th, 1970. She lived in Bialystock, Poland, with her parents, Lech and Magdalena. At age one, her mother, who was a doctor, left her father. They moved to Sweden when Izabella was eight, and settled in Stockholm. In 1989, she was cast as Annelie, in the Swedish film Ingen kan alska som vi, and became a teenage idol. In that same year, she released a single "Substitute" which went gold in Sweden. She released two albums and a few hit singles before ending her singing career. Izabella began pursuing her modelling career and appeared in many magazines and other advertisements. |
