Isabel Lucas (born January 29, 1985 in Melbourne) is an Australian actress. Her mother is Swiss and she lived in Switzerland for a year as a child. Currently, she plays Tasha Andrews on the successful Australian TV soap Home and Away.

Lucas had never intended to become an actress. A photogenic blonde, she was spotted on the shores of New South Wales by Home and Away's casting director and was asked if she would like to appear on the show as a guest. With no acting experiences or lessons, her appearance on the show was a huge success. Due to her lack of acting experiences, the director made her character speak in Pig Latin so that any flaws in her acting would not be noticeable. After a few lessons and practice in the TV show, Lucas is now a Logie Award winner (for new popular talent) and a spokesperson for the National Breast Cancer Awareness program.

Lucas dated co-star Chris Hemsworth for a time, the couple broke up in October 2005, but are now back together again after a 2 month break.

She loves dolphins and all things natural.

She lives in the North Shore of Sydney.

Her Mother lives in Queensland.
