Frederique van der Wal (born August 30, 1967, in The Hague, Zuid-Holland, The Netherlands) is a Dutch fashion model, best-known for gracing the pages of Sports Illustrated, Cosmopolitan, and Victoria's Secret. Frederique (as she is known and introduces herself), grew up on a farm on one of the newer polders in the Zuider Zee. She attended college in The Netherlands and earned a bachelor's degree in economics. She is a sharp businesswoman and manages her own financial affairs and businesses.

Frederique is 5'10" tall, and her measurements are a healthy and untwiggish 36C-24.5-36.

Frederique has appeared on hundreds of magazine covers, and in hundreds of catalogs, too, and she has also done runway and other fashion modeling. Frederique was hired by "Victoria's Secret" in the 1980s, when it was a very young women's lingerie company. She and American Stephanie Seymour quickly became the two All-Star models for "Victoria's Secret" and helped lead it to its position of international prominence in women's underwear, sleepwear, swimsuits, hosiery, and outer clothing. They held these positions for years, where they were both noted for their poised and professional modeling in women's intimate wear and outerwear.

Frederique has also appeared in several movies and television shows, especially on the Travel Channel. She has her own line of clothing and fragrance. Film credits include the Will Smith starring Wild Wild West in which she played Dr. Arliss Loveless' assistant Amazonia and The Million Dollar Hotel in which she starred opposite Mel Gibson, Milla Jovovich, and Amanda Plummer. She also appeared briefly in Woody Allen's Celebrity as a friend of the supermodel played by Charlize Theron. Frederique can also be spotted briefly in the program "54" opposite Ryan Phillippe, Salma Hayek, Mike Myers, and Neve Campbell as one of the VIP patrons walking towards the club during the end credits.

Frederique also appeared on ABC's Celebrity Mole: Hawaii, in which she was actually the rogue player hired by the producers to sabatoge the player's money-earning efforts. She fulfilled her job as The Mole without being obvious at all.

At last reports, Frederique lives with her boyfriend, Nicholas Klein, a screenwriter. They have one daughter, Scyler Pim Klein, who was born on May 4, 2000.
