Emmanuelle Sophie Anne Chriqui (born December 10, 1977) is a Montreal-born Canadian actress known primarily for her roles in teen-oriented movies. Chriqui (whose family name's French-language transliteration is pronounced Shreeky) was born to Jewish immigrants from Morocco. When she was 6, she moved to Toronto with her family, including an older brother and sister; she grew up in Unionville, a suburb northeast of the city. |
