Emily Procter (October 8, 1968 in Raleigh, North Carolina) also credited as Emily Proctor is an American actress. Procter attended East Carolina University, where she tried unsuccessfully to get into the theatre department. She ended up studying journalism and dance. After graduating she worked as a weather girl, then moved to Los Angeles and landed a number of small roles in films such as Jerry Maguire (1996). She has also had a recurring guest role as Associate White House Counsel Ainsley Hayes on NBC's The West Wing. She now stars as Calleigh Duquesne in CSI: Miami. |
