Brandon James Routh (born October 9, 1979 in Des Moines, Iowa) is an American film actor who has been cast for the lead role in the latest Superman movie: Superman Returns. Although born in Des Moines, Routh grew up in Norwalk (about 100 miles south of Woolstock, the hometown of television's original Superman, George Reeves). He attended the University of Iowa and starred in many productions at the Norwalk Theater of Performing Arts. |
