U.S. Marshals is a 1998 action thriller spin off from The Fugitive. Mark Sheridan (Wesley Snipes) is driving a tow truck which crashes in the middle of the road where he gets knocked out and goes to the hospital with a broken arm. Upon being treated for his injuries, he gets arrested by the CPD for having a gun under the dash that has been linked to the murder of 2 government agents. He goes to New York City after the crash. Agent John Royce (Robert Downey Jr) is assigned to capture him. During pursuit, Cosmo (Joe Pantoliano) goes to a cemetery where Agent Frank Barrows was shot and killed and the car Cosmo drove crashes. Meanwhile, Royce kills Deputy US Marshal Noah Newman (Tom Wood) by shooting him 2 times in the chest. During the fight, Royce shoots Sheridan several times. At the hospital, Royce almost kills Sheridan but is killed himself by Sam Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones). After court, Sheridan and the US Marshals including Biggs (Daniel Roebuck) propose a toast to Noah Newman who died in the ambulance by the time he arrived at the hospital. |
