Timeline is a 2003 film directed by Richard Donner. It stars Paul Walker, Frances O'Connor, Billy Connolly and Gerard Butler. Brian Tyler composed the score for the film. The movie is based on the novel by Michael Crichton. See Timeline (novel). Despite its huge budget of $80,000,000, Timeline was panned by most critics, and grossed only $19,480,739 during its American box office run. In the book Chris Hughes is not Edward Johnston's son, but a student. Also, the movie doesn't go into detail concerning the details of the technology used in time travel, simply passing it off as a wormhole to Castlegard in the past (In the book, the time travel involved travel to various other universes, many of them at different points in time to 'this' universe). |
