Unexpectedly widowed, prim and proper housewife Grace Trevethyn finds herself in dire financial straits when she inherits massive debts her late husband been secretly accruing for years. Faced with losing her house and having no way to come up with the large amount of money necessary to set things straight, Grace can’t see a way out of her problems. However, her laid-back gardener is well aware of Grace’s gift with horticulture, as well as her desperate need for money, and hatches a plan to grow potent marijuana which can be sold at an astronomic price, thus solving her crisis. However, whether Grace and her gardener will be able to hide their illegal enterprise from the quaint and curious townsfolk, and iron out the sticky business of finding a way to actually peddle their wares, remains to be seen.
