Jared (Paul Walker) and Sam (Jessica Alba) live in the Bahamas and work odd jobs to support their passion, diving. Jared's brother Bryce (Scott Caan) and his girlfriend Amanda (Ashley Scott) come to visit, and together the four of them stumble upon what looks like the remains of a shipwreck on the ocean floor. This legendary shipwreck is rumored to contain millions in gold. The foursome, thinking their dreams of discovering buried treasure have finally come true, decide to investigate. While exploring it to try and stake their claim, they come across the remains of a crashed plane carrying a large quantity of cocaine. When the owner of the cocaine, a local drug lord, finds out his cocaine has been found, trouble begins to brew.
