Juliette and the younger LÃ©a are sisters. Juliette has killed her 6-year old son, and has served a long prison sentence, during which LÃ©a never visited her. After being released she starts living with LÃ©a's family, including her husband, his mute father, and their two adopted Vietnamese daughters.
