Feast of Love is a 2007 film by Robert Benton, starring Morgan Freeman, Fred Ward and several other actors. The cast-ensemble drama, based on the novel of the same name by Charles Baxter, was first released on September 27, 2007 in USA and 2008 in worldwide cinema. A meditation on love and its various incarnations, set within a community of friends in Oregon. and is described as an exploration of the magical, mysterious and sometimes painful incarnations of love. While many of the movies scenes are set at Portland State University, the nearby campuses of Western Seminary and Reed College were the actual location of filming. Locations at Reed include the Blue Bridge, The Front Lawn and Elliot Circle. |
