Elektra is a 2005 movie directed by Rob Bowman. It is a spin-off sequel to the 2003 movie Daredevil, starring the Marvel comics character Elektra Natchios (played by Garner). For the screenplay, Zak Penn, Stuart Zicherman, and Raven Metzner received "written by" credit. Mark Steven Johnson received credit for "motion picture characters" and Frank Miller for "comic book characters." Continuing from Daredevil, Elektra is revived by Stick after dying from the mortal wounds she suffered from Bullseye. After, Stick and his group of ninja's train her but soon she is asked to leave and thus begins her life as an asassin. She recieves an assignment to hunt down Mark Miller (Visnjic), and his 13-year-old daughter, Abby, whom the Order of the Hand, an evil group of asassins, also require for their order. Elektra inadvertenly befriends Miller and Abby and decides to protect them. She leads them to her old mentor, Stick (Stamp), to take care of them. However Abby doesn't wish to stay with Stick until the Hand no longer desires her power. In an effort to let Abby lead a normal life Elektra makes a deal with the Hand in which one battle against Kirigi will decide Abby's fate. Just as Daredevil was for Matt Murdock, this film is about Elektra coping with her childhood experiences and putting them behind her. Taglines: Looks can kill. Born to fight. Trained to kill.
