Danny the Dog, released in the US, UK and Australia as Unleashed, is a 2005 action/thriller film, directed by Louis Leterrier. It is set in Glasgow, Scotland. Danny (Jet Li) is a Chinese slave with the mind and personality of a young child. Forced to wear a dog collar around his neck, Danny has been trained to be a vicious pit fighter and bodyguard by his cold hearted "master" Bart (Bob Hoskins). When Bart falls into a coma after an accident, Danny takes the first steps towards attaining his humanity when he meets blind piano tuner Sam (Morgan Freeman) and his step-daughter Victoria (Kerry Condon).
