  A Good Woman
Movie Review

A Good Woman is a 2004 film based on the Oscar Wilde play Lady Windermere's Fan and directed by Mike Barker.

It stars Helen Hunt as serial seductress Mrs. Erlynne, Mark Umbers and Scarlett Johansson as the recently-married Windermeres, Stephen Campbell Moore as the rakish Lord Darlington, and Tom Wilkinson as wealthy bachelor Tuppy.

The film is set in the 1930s and most of the action takes place in Amalfi, Italy. The screenplay was written by Howard Himelstein and contains many quotations borrowed from other Oscar Wilde works.
